WHO WE ARE

About Us Welcome to Family Life Chapel International: We are a church filled with people whose lives have been changed by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and occupying their place in God for the benefit of humanity. Here in (FLCI) we believe that God is still in the business of mending broken lives and restoring destiny. Therefore, it is our hope that you too will come to know Him in this same life-changing way.

In the book of Joshua, it reads, but if you are unwilling to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family we would serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15 (NLT)

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE IN:
  • One God in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • The one true Church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers regardless of race, gender, background or social standing
  • The inspiration of the whole Bible as God's infallible revelation to man
  • Jesus Christ's deity, virgin birth, sinless humanity, substitutionary death, atoning blood, bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven, and His second coming
  • We believe that Jesus is the head of the Church, and we seek to submit to all He lays out in the bible.
  • We believe in water baptism and practice baptism by total Immersion.
  • We believe that it is important to be in our community, meeting the spiritual and practical needs of the people around us, as well as going to the ends of the earth.
  • Salvation by faith in Christ alone, without works, solely by grace
  • The need to live a life that expresses gratitude to God and demonstrates His transforming power through the enablement of the Holy Spirit
  • The resurrection of the body to eternal glory in heaven for all believers, and to everlasting punishment in hell for all unbelievers.

OUR VISION
  1. It is our all encompassing goal to know God intimately through the study of His word. We believe that by discovering God, we discover ourselves and our purpose here on earth.

  2. It is our vision to reach thousands of people across the globe with the gospel through radio, TV and the internet.

  3. We aim to empower individuals by encouraging them to utilize their God-given talents, skills and abilities to serve their generation.

  4. As the Body of Christ grows, there is a need for more leaders; our goal is to train and encourage people into leadership roles, who will be able to lead and care for others.

  5. It is our vision to purchase our own property within the next five years.

  6. To secure (for) and effectively manage the resources of FLCI for an equitable, sustainable and holistic development of the community.

  7. We intent to start and develop a Nursery in our community (Waltham Forest) to help mothers with children from the age of one to five to enable them to attend the Nursery for ten and half hours stay. This will enable the mothers who wish to return back to work after maternity leave to be able to do so such a space of time.

  8. To make an impact in peoples lives through the delivery of accredited learning programmes and provision of best quality services in health and social care sector. As well as delivering effective career and personal development.

  9. Our vision, mandate, philosophical outlook, values and work programmes are therefore firmly grounded on the idea that everyone has the right, individually or in association with others, to promote the betterment of the society, taking such developmental actions as are necessitated by the needs of the society in the quest to fulfil the universal duty to improve the welfare of the most vulnerable among mankind.
